Lincoln High School is a public high school in the Goose Hollow neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. It was established in 1869 making it the oldest, continuous, public high school west of the Mississippi River. The choral program at Lincoln High School has been steadily growing for the last 10 years since it was reinstated after several years of not having any choral music. In 2017, the LHS Cardinal Choir went to the OSAA State Competition for the first time in the school's history. The Cardinal Choir, our oldest and largest SATB ensemble, is also a touring ensemble. In the last five years the group has toured to Seattle, Southern California, San Francisco and Victoria, B.C. Other choirs at Lincoln include the FLI (Freshmen Leadership & Inquiry) Choir and the Chamber Choir, a smaller group of advanced-level choral singers. Cheers to a bright future in the Lincoln choral program!
